Duncan has worked in turf care for over 35 years and he’s still learning about grass, but his experience makes professional lawn surfaces easy.We’re now offering Lawn Care courses which take you through all the steps required to create the perfect lawn, whatever your purpose is.
What We Cover
You’ll learn how to:
- Create a lush, hard wearing lawn for children and pets to play on
- Create a top quality, fast running putting green, just for golf enthusiasts
- Maintain a great surface even in bad conditions, such as drought, heat or low light
- Eradicate weeds and moss, once and for all, no matter what type of surface you have
- Lawn development techniques such as seeding and turfing
- Lawn maintenance techniques, such as scarifying, aerating and raking
Our courses run in person over 1 or 2 days, and you’ll receive personal instruction in how to create great lawn surfaces. Duncan takes each class and uses his greenkeeping knowledge to educate you in the art of lawn care.

Lawn Care Course Locations
Duncan runs his lawn maintenance courses all over the country, but most often in Scotland, and in Dumfries and Galloway in particular. Courses run regularly in Dumfries, and also take place in Glasgow and Edinburgh depending on demand.
